The creators of Dark Souls deny taking any direct inspiration from the original Legend of Zelda, but we know that's impossible. So we dive into this strange, foreboding, ahead-of-its-time adventure game and look for the elements that would go on to become Souls-series hallmarks. We also talk about the whole game in a Watch Out for Fireballs!-like fashion.
